NW7, HENDON & MILL HILL PROPERTY GUIDE: |
Both areas are blighted by busy roads (Mill
Hill has the dubious honour of housing the start of the M1 at
the end of its main shopping street), yet leafy quiet suburban
roads can be found in abundance once you turn off the major
routes. Hendon has a varied choice of properties, many of which
remain as a reminder to the area's farming past. Small cottages,
conversions, modern apartments and larger luxury houses can
all be found. West Hendon is cheaper, but a bit run-down. Mill
Hill is more suburban and cheaper due to its less reliable and
infrequent tube service, although there are some very prestigious
streets where property exchanges hands for £1 million or more.
WHO LIVES HERE? Families and young professionals. A sizeable
